Useful Things to Know
The Stay & Play Club is open from 7.45am to 6pm. Children either walk or are collected by car from school
A hot meal is provided daily at 3pm and is cooked on site.
We are closed bank holidays, Good Friday and two weeks at Christmas.
We don’t use a tv, video or games consoles on a daily or weekly basis but once again reserve the right to use them especially in the long dark days.
We can collect children when schools have staff meetings, half days, unexpected closures but may have to bring children to the park, library or other club building depending on numbers.
We can arrange for children to attend music, dance, theatre classes in the ABCD building during the club hours.
All written homework is attempted. We follow the school guidelines regarding length of time homework takes. We will encourage and help children to finish. We will spell words and explain maths but schools would prefer that if a child doesn’t understand their work that it is not corrected by us. We will alert parents if we feel the child is having difficulty. Reading and spelling are completed at home.
Please label everything, and check that child has everything as they leave.
No scooters or bikes please.
If a child has a medical condition or allergy please give written instructions on what to do.
